<h2>Part 2: Who Is Sir Christopher?</h2><h3>A conversation with Nicole Littlejohn</h3><p>This blog series exists for a simple reason: most conversations about power exchange, sex work, and alternative relationship structures start in the wrong place.</p><p>They begin with assumptions. With judgment. With spectacle. With questions that are often accusations in disguise.</p><p>Nicole Littlejohn’s work approaches this terrain differently. She is currently researching background material to create the main character for her novel, a character who is also a Dominant. Rather than relying on trope or fantasy, her process is grounded in lived experience, ethical complexity, and the realities of how people actually organize their lives around power, intimacy, responsibility, and time.</p><p>This series is part of that research.</p><p>I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Littlejohn and to share my story, along with the theories and practices that have shaped my life. These conversations are generous, careful, and rooted in nuance, and I don’t take that lightly.</p><p>This series is not about presenting an idealized figure or defending a lifestyle. It is about context. About slowing the conversation down enough to see how dominance, family life, labor, aging, parenting, and choice intersect in real time, inside an actual life.</p><p>You don’t need to share my values, my work, or my relationship structures to engage with this series — only a willingness to read with curiosity rather than assumption.</p><p>Before you can understand the shape of the work I’m doing now, you need to understand where it came from, what it replaced, and what it is meant to protect.</p><p>What follows are five questions Nicole asked that widen the frame instead of narrowing it. They are not sensational questions. They are structural ones.</p><h3>Question 1: How do you balance sex work and family life as a man?</h3><p>I don’t really see it as a balance yet. Family comes first, and until someone actually hires me, the work is mostly theoretical.</p><p>This is a very recent decision, made only days after my daughter’s birth in November while I was on paternity leave from my remodeling contractor business. The intent is to be able to spend more quality time at home than I have in my contracting career, which feels even more important now that I’m fifty with a toddler and an infant.</p><p>What I’m doing now is setting clear boundaries, structure, and values in advance so that when it becomes real, it’s contained, intentional, and doesn’t bleed into family life. My wife has been incredibly supportive of this decision and even helped build much of my website structure and write bios for escort services. That alignment at home matters more than anything else.</p><h3>Question 2: How did you get into escort and sex work?</h3><p>I didn’t “get into” it in the way people usually imagine, but the break from my past work was dramatic. After years in a physically demanding remodeling contractor career, stepping away during paternity leave created space for a real reckoning with how I wanted to spend my time and energy.</p><p>This was not a sudden interest or an impulsive pivot. I have nearly thirty years in the lifestyle through my personal relationships, and it is something I have studied and integrated into my own life for decades. With over ten years of experience as a BDSM forum moderator, teaching others a lifestyle that has been pivotal for me felt like a natural extension rather than a leap.</p><p>At fifty, with a toddler and an infant, the long hours and physical strain of construction no longer aligned with the kind of presence I wanted at home. What changed was formalizing work I was already doing and deciding that if I was going to offer it professionally, it would be done transparently, ethically, and with clear boundaries.</p><p>I didn’t enter this work by abandoning who I was. I entered it by claiming something I had lived, studied, and taught for years.</p><h3>Question 3: Do you like being paid for sex, or is it a means to an end?</h3><p>Sex is not included in the service I provide. What I offer is an embodied D/s scene, clearly negotiated and intentionally structured. The exchange is about power, presence, and experience, not sexual access.</p><p>That said, it would be dishonest to pretend the work is disconnected from pleasure. Many people will experience orgasm or euphoric and even transformative sensation. Those outcomes are a byproduct of deep embodiment and intentional power exchange, not the product being sold.</p><p>Payment creates containment. It clarifies expectations, boundaries, time, and responsibility. In my contracting career, I was compensated well for the quality of my craftsmanship. I bring that same standard into my work as Sir Christopher. Skill, preparation, and accountability deserve appropriate compensation.</p><h3>Question 4: How did you meet your wife?</h3><p>We met online, in a group for polyamorous dating, and chatted for a while before meeting in person. At the time, she was twenty-three and I was forty-six, and I genuinely worried the age gap might make conversation awkward.</p><p>That concern vanished immediately.</p><p>Our first date was dinner at a Himalayan restaurant in Evergreen. The conversation went deep almost instantly, and what stands out most was the intense eye contact. It felt like we had known each other in past lives, as if the connection had been waiting for us to notice it. We barely looked away from each other, completely absorbed, until the staff gently told us they had been closed for over an hour.</p><p>Our second date was on Independence Day. We rented an Airbnb for the long weekend and stayed in. We did not engage in kink or any BDSM scene. We had not yet discussed her history or experience in the lifestyle, and we had not taken the time needed to negotiate a scene properly. That mattered to me.</p><p>Instead, we had beautiful, deeply connected vanilla sex and spent the weekend exploring each other with curiosity and care. We talked, laughed, rested, and shared our journeys, our growth, and our goals for life. Much of that time was spent in a hot tub under the stars, with a fire nearby, talking for hours. There may have been a small amount of hallucinogens involved, but what stood out wasn’t altered states. It was presence.</p><p>Intimacy didn’t arrive slowly. It arrived naturally, with clarity and mutual enthusiasm, inside the same framework of honesty and consent that defined everything else.</p><p>Over time, connection became partnership, and partnership became collaboration. That foundation is why later choices have been navigated through conversation rather than secrecy.</p><h3>Question 5: Do you have other children?</h3><p>Yes. I have two adult sons. They are both married, and I have two grandchildren.</p><p>I became a father very young. My first child was on the way when I was sixteen, and my first wife was twenty-one. That marriage lasted eleven months. We were married and divorced in the same year, with our second son on the way.</p><p>I later joined the military. After five years of service, reconnecting with my children was complicated by conflict with my ex, and the result was that I missed much of their childhood. That absence is part of my story.</p><p>Later, I raised my second wife’s son for sixteen years and was the only father he knew until he was older. That experience shaped how I understand commitment and presence.</p><p>Having children when I was younger was unintended and rooted in survival. This chapter of fatherhood is conscious, deliberate, and deeply chosen.</p><h3>Closing</h3><p>This series is not about normalizing or sensationalizing anything. It is about accuracy.</p><p>Power exchange and sex work do not exist in isolation. They exist inside families, histories, bodies, and time. Part 2: Who Is Sir Christopher? A conversation with Nicole Littlejohn

<p>One of the most common misconceptions I hear is that power exchange only exists between people. That without a partner present, submission disappears and dominance has nowhere to land.</p><p>Both assumptions miss something essential.</p><p>Submission and dominance are not performances. They are capacities. They live first inside the relationship you have with yourself. Before there is ever a partner to yield to or lead, there is an internal system already negotiating structure, trust, discipline, and care.</p><h3>Solo submission is the practice of chosen surrender.</h3><h3>Solo dominance is the practice of steady self leadership.</h3><p>When these are cultivated together, you are not rehearsing for a future dynamic. You are building nervous system safety, consent literacy, and internal coherence now. This can be a routine, a structure, or a value you have consciously agreed to honor.</p><p>Examples include committing to a daily ritual such as morning stretching, meditation, or journaling and following it even when resistance shows up. You might let a timer, playlist, or written plan guide your time instead of impulse. You might choose consistency over mood.</p><p>This builds the muscle of consensual obedience. It is the ability to keep your word even when no one is watching.</p><h3>Create Self Directed Protocol</h3><p>Protocols are powerful, even when practiced solo.</p><p>You might explore clothing choices that signal submissive mode at home. You could use kneeling, grounding postures, or intentional stillness. Writing affirmations or personal rules that you agree to follow for a set period can also be effective.</p><p>The key is simple. You choose the container, then you submit to it. That choice is what keeps the practice ethical, stabilizing, and empowering.</p><h3>Body Based Submission</h3><p>Submission does not live only in thought. It lives in the nervous system.</p><p>Practices that support this include breathwork that emphasizes softening instead of controlling. Yoga or somatic movement focused on yielding, opening, and receiving can be deeply effective. Letting music move your body without directing or correcting it is another powerful doorway.</p><p>These practices help access surrender and subspace without requiring another person. The body already knows how to let go when it feels safe.</p><h3>Serve Something Meaningful</h3><p>Submission does not require a Dominant. It requires service.</p><p>Service can take many forms. Caring for plants, pets, or your home is one. Showing up consistently for community or volunteer work is another. Acts of devotion toward your own healing, growth, or creative expression also count.</p><p>When submissive energy is channeled into purpose, it becomes grounding instead of restless.</p><h3>Inner Dialogue Work</h3><p>Some people benefit from developing a respectful internal authority voice. This is not shame based and not punitive.</p><p>You might explore writing prompts such as, What would it feel like to be guided right now? Visualization of being held, directed, or witnessed in a way that feels safe can also be helpful. They are energetic qualities present in everyone.</p><p>The inner masculine is the part of you that sets direction. It creates structure, defines boundaries, and holds responsibility. It decides when practice happens, what the container is, and what care looks like.</p><p>The inner feminine is the part of you that yields into that structure. It softens, receives, senses, and allows experience to unfold. It does not need to decide. It needs to be held.</p><p>When the inner masculine is inconsistent or absent, the inner feminine cannot relax. When the inner feminine is ignored or overridden, the system becomes rigid or brittle.</p><p>Healthy solo dominance is an expression of mature inner masculine energy. Healthy solo submission is an expression of receptive inner feminine energy. Neither is superior. It is about self leadership, containment, and responsibility.</p><p>You practice solo dominance by setting clear structures for your life and following through. This can include non negotiable routines, boundaries around time and energy, or standards for how you speak to yourself. Leadership without consistency is not dominance.</p><p>Some people ritualize this role. Writing rules and expectations, choosing symbols that represent authority or steadiness, or beginning the day with a statement of intention can all reinforce inner leadership. Once the structure is set, the dominant role steps back and allows the system to run.</p><p>Healthy solo dominance is calm, not harsh. It is firm, not reactive. It creates safety rather than fear. When practiced well, it gives your submissive side something trustworthy to relax into.</p><h3>Holding Both Sides With Respect</h3><p>For many people, solo submission and solo dominance work best together.</p><p>Your inner Dominant sets the structure, defines the container, and ensures care. Your inner submissive yields to that structure and practices trust. This internal collaboration builds integrity and prevents submission from slipping into self punishment or dominance from becoming self criticism.</p><p>When both sides are respected, surrender becomes sustainable.</p><h3>An Important Reminder</h3><p>Solo practice, whether submissive or dominant, should feel grounding, affirming, and stabilizing.</p><p>If it ever tips into self punishment, dissociation, or avoidance, pause and reorient toward care. Power exchange, even internal, is meant to support your nervous system, not override it.</p><p>You are not missing something by practicing alone. Solo Power Exchange: Cultivating Submission and Dominance Without a Partner

<p>Within BDSM, the concept of worship is often misunderstood. It is frequently reduced to spectacle, rigid hierarchy, or exaggerated devotion framed as erotic performance. From the outside, it can appear theatrical or performative, something done to be seen. In the context of intimate relationships, however, worship carries a far quieter and more meaningful function.</p><p>Many couples experience a longing for this kind of presence long before they encounter language for it. It often emerges as a desire to be fully seen, chosen, and attended to in a sustained way. Not idealized. Not placed on a pedestal. Simply met—consistently, deliberately, and with care. This longing is not inherently sexual, though it may become erotic. At its core, it is relational.</p><p>In this sense, worship is not about elevating one partner above the other, nor about diminishing oneself. It is not submission as erasure, nor dominance as entitlement. It is about the quality of attention being offered, and whether that attention is conscious, chosen, and rooted in mutual consent.</p><p>True worship is slow. It listens. It notices what changes and what remains. It asks, again and again: How do I show up here with integrity? When practiced well, it becomes a form of presence that steadies both partners. One offers care and focus; the other receives without needing to perform for it. Power may be present, but it is relational power—circulating, responsive, and alive.</p><h2>Forms of D/s Worship</h2><p>Worship in Dominance and submission can take many forms. None are mandatory, and none are inherently superior. What matters is alignment, consent, and meaning for the people involved.</p><h3>Attentional Worship</h3><p>This is the most foundational form. It centers on listening, remembering preferences, tracking emotional and somatic states, and offering focused presence. Devotion is expressed through awareness and responsiveness rather than action alone.</p><h3>Service-Oriented Worship</h3><p>Often mistaken for obedience, service worship is about intentional care. Acts are negotiated, chosen, and performed with meaning. The focus is not labor for its own sake, but devotion expressed through action that feels nourishing to both partners.</p><h3>Ritual Worship</h3><p>Ritual creates continuity. This may include greeting practices, grounding routines, symbolic gestures, or intentional moments of acknowledgment. Ritual is not about rigidity; it is about creating shared meaning over time.</p><h3>Verbal or Devotional Expression</h3><p>Some dynamics include spoken acknowledgment, affirmations, or intentional language that reinforces roles and connection. When grounded, this is not flattery or ego-stroking, but conscious naming of respect, authority, and bond.</p><h3>Body-Based or Somatic Worship</h3><p>This form emphasizes presence through the body: posture, stillness, breath, mindful touch, or synchronized movement. It prioritizes regulation and embodiment over performance or display.</p><h3>Energetic or Spiritual Worship</h3><p>For some, worship includes subtle attunement—shared silence, intention-setting, or energetic awareness. This form is often quiet and deeply personal, grounded in consent rather than belief systems.</p><h2>What All Forms Share</h2><p>Healthy D/s worship shares three core elements:</p><ol><li>Consent that is ongoing and informed</li><li>Choice that is renewed, not assumed</li><li>Presence that prioritizes attunement over intensity</li></ol><p>This is why worship, when grounded, can feel profoundly nourishing. It answers a quiet human question many of us carry: Am I worthy of sustained attention? In consensual power dynamics, the answer is not spoken once. It is reaffirmed through action, ritual, and care over time.</p><h2>Closing Thought</h2><p>When stripped of spectacle, worship becomes something simple and demanding: the willingness to remain present. To offer attention as a gift. To let intimacy deepen not through escalation alone, but through continuity, trust, and care that is lived day by day.</p><p>Worship, practiced well, is not a fantasy role. When Worship Means Presence, Not Pedestals

<h2>On intimacy, leadership, and the kind of man who knows when to wait</h2><h3>By Sir Christopher</h3><p>In response to a character research question posed by Nicole Littlejohn</p><p><a data-mce-href="https://substack.com/@nlittlejohn?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=android&amp;r=74i93r" href="https://substack.com/@nlittlejohn?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=android&amp;r=74i93r" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Find Nicole Littlejohn on Substack Here:&nbsp;</a></p><p>As part of her ongoing character research and development process, Nicole Littlejohn asked me a question about a man who understands dominance, intimacy, and restraint.</p><p>The question was specific, situational, and human.</p><p>A Dominant is reconnecting with a woman he genuinely likes. They have never had sex. After a beautiful date, she kisses him and asks him to make love to her. There has been no prior agreement, no negotiation, no discussion of roles or dynamics. When he tries to slow the moment and ask what she wants, she explains that she has not had sex in four years. She does not want to talk. She just wants to feel loved. Held. Close. She asks for regular (vanilla) sex and trusts herself to speak up if something feels wrong.</p><p>Nicole’s question to me was simple and direct.</p><h3>What would he do next?</h3><p><em>What follows is my answer.</em></p><p>He does not step into a BDSM dynamic in that moment, but he does not turn her away.</p><p>He meets her as a man first, not as a Dominant.</p><p>If what she is asking for is closeness, tenderness, and to be held after years without touch, he can offer that fully and passionately, without invoking power, protocol, or hierarchy. He lets intimacy be human rather than structured. He stays attuned, slow, and responsive. He allows her nervous system to lead.</p><p>That choice matters, especially for the kind of character Nicole is building. This is not a man unfamiliar with intensity or power. He understands desire. He understands dominance. But he also understands that vulnerability is not an invitation to hierarchy.</p><p>I answer this way because I recognize this man. I know what it is to reconnect after distance, to rebuild trust where time and strain have intervened, and to choose presence before desire. In my own life, restraint created safety, and safety made what followed deeper rather than diminished. That lived experience shapes why my answer is what it is.</p><p>This is not restraint born of fear or uncertainty. It is restraint born of confidence and self-knowledge.</p><p>A grounded man does not need to claim power in every moment it is available. He understands that submission carries longings that deserve clarity, consent, and timing. Those cravings can wait. They deserve more than an impulsive beginning.</p><p>This answer also reveals something essential about the character Nicole is developing.</p><p>He is not compelling because he dominates reflexively. He is compelling because he chooses correctly when it would be easier not to. His strength shows up most clearly in moments where he could take more, but does not.</p><p>I agreed to participate in this project because I respect the care Nicole brings to her characters and her refusal to flatten complex dynamics into fantasy alone. The questions she is asking are the same ones I believe matter when writing about men who lead, love, and choose with intention rather than impulse.</p><p>Later, when power does enter the relationship, it will not feel rushed or opportunistic. It will feel earned. Research Interview Series, Question One: When Power Waits

<h2>Safewords Aren’t Just for Scenes</h2><h3>Why clear consent tools belong in everyday intimacy too</h3><p>When people hear the word safeword, they often assume it only applies to BDSM scenes or formal power exchange dynamics. That is a misconception. Safewords are not about kink. They are about clear communication.</p><p>At their core, safewords are simply a tool to help people communicate boundaries quickly and clearly when things are intense, vulnerable, or hard to articulate in the moment.</p><h3>Safewords in regular sex</h3><p>Even in vanilla or casual sexual encounters, emotions and sensations can escalate fast. A safeword gives both people an agreed upon way to pause or stop without confusion or fear of being misunderstood.</p><p>Sometimes “no” does not come out easily. Some people freeze. Some go quiet. Some worry about hurting feelings or breaking the mood. A safeword removes that pressure. One word, understood by both people, is enough.</p><h3>Outside of a dynamic</h3><p>You do not need a D/s dynamic, a title, or a scene agreement to benefit from a safeword. They are especially useful when:</p><ul><li>You are with a new partner</li><li>You are exploring something unfamiliar</li><li>Intensity increases unexpectedly</li><li>One or both people struggle with verbalizing boundaries under stress</li></ul><p>A safeword is not a sign that something is dangerous or extreme. It is a sign that communication matters.</p><h3>Safewords as quiet codes</h3><p>A submissive once shared a story with me that really stuck. They and their partner used safewords not only in intimacy, but in everyday conversation. If they were out with friends or family and something felt overwhelming, uncomfortable, or unsafe, they could casually say the safeword in conversation.</p><p>To everyone else, it sounded like a normal word in a sentence. To their partner, it meant “I need support,” “I need to leave,” or “Please change the situation.” No explanations. No scene. No public discomfort.
